Milford Sound Heli-Cruise-Hike Itinerary

9:40am

Depart from Te Anau and begin your flight to discover the northern region of Fiordland National Park. Iconic Milford Sound is well-known for its startling beauty and standout features. A remote landing is included on the stunning alpine Lake Erskine. You will be with the helicopter for approximately 50-60mins including the landing (time may vary).

10:40am

Land at Milford Sound Airport, where your expert guide will meet you and escort you to check in for your cruise.

11:10am

Begin your cruise experience upon one of the local operator’s cruises. A picnic lunch will be included.

1:10pm

Once you have arrived back from the cruise, you will then depart Milford Sound via the road for the hike portion. The Milford Sound road offers many short walks along the way. Your guide is happy to cater the hikes to fitness levels and motivation levels on the day. They will offer a series of short walks in different environments from 5-30 minutes in length (e.g. Mirror Lakes, Lake Gunn, Marian Gantry and Gertrude Valley). The walks include short scenic and photographic stops.
