Doubtful Sound Kayaking & Heli Tour

This one-day kayaking excursion is a magical way to experience the stillness of Doubtful Sound and to appreciate the vast scale of the surrounding mountains. Enjoy a small cruise across Lake Manapouri before travelling by coach over the Wilmot Pass Road with stops along the way to take in spectacular views of Doubtful Sound. Explore the sheltered coves and shorelines of Doubtful Sound by kayak with your tour guide and at the end of your adventure you will be transferred back to Deep Cove by boat, ready to experience Fiordland by air with a helicopter flight from Deep Cove, discover hidden valleys and soar high above the mountains back to Lake Te Anau.

• All kayaking gear is provided.
• Kayaks have a weight restriction of 115kg
• Minimum age is 14 years

NOTE: This is a seasonal experience and is only available from 1st November through to 1st May. Bookings need to be made in advance for this package. Please be prepared for potential flexibility in your plans to accommodate for necessary schedule adjustments.

If weather does not allow the helicopter to fly, the helicopter portion will be refunded. However, the kayak experience will still go ahead. Last minute cancellations for this will not result in a refund.
